With some inspiration from Leon West on the Romance For Men Discord, particularly “The Fox Who Came For Christmas,” I had some thoughts for holiday-based shorts for some of my recurring characters.

I didn’t want to pause anyone’s storyline, but with the Mendocino Series being mostly wrapped up, it seemed like a perfect place to plant my first two holiday shorts. The eagle-eyed among you may have picked up on the date Renee Davis was focused on at the end of Going Home. So that’s where the holidays begin.

Next month, I’ll be releasing what I’m calling “Easter Miracle.” I expect it to be live around Palm Sunday, although it will likely be a paid member promo on my Patreon sooner than that. It’s a story with lots of Easter eggs, a dozen and a half to be precise. And of course, a little miracle.

I’ve already started working on “Christmas Charm,” which will obviously come out later in the year, paralleling the time gap in the real world. There’s a chance it will come out first in the Mendocino omnibus though.

I’ll be back to my March releases soon enough, but sometimes an idea gets stuck in your head and you have to rattle it out a bit.

As always, thanks for reading, rating, and reviewing. Your feedback makes a big difference to independent authors. If you need something to read and review, everything’s on my Amazon page and all but one of them is on Kindle Unlimited, free with your subscription.
