It really shouldn’t be a big time sink, but I’m thinking about formatting for my covers going forward. My third work to be posted (probably this weekend or next week) will have a third layout, and I wonder what my readers think about the designs.

I created the cover for Brewing Up Desire sometime in 2017. Tracey Rose was created this month, as was the new one. I have a trilogy in the folder that uses the new book’s design but licensed art instead of AI art.

The block style of Brewing Up Desire works for covering the face of a stock art model, which is something I’m not worried about with the AI models.

I’m thinking that at some point, I’ll go back and make the covers look roughly the same, where the title fits. I may also have changes to front and back matter (the legalese, the backstory, etc) to make them similar.

What do you think, dear readers, or does it even matter? I’d love to hear (well, read) your thoughts.
